Capitol Door & Window uses a precise CNC Edge Milling Machine to route your new door to your exact specifications. From the hinge pockets to mortise locks, restiles, rerails, flush bolts, SOSS hinges, and multi-point latches, we have you covered. Once digital measurements are captured and entered into our machine, your new door is cut to precise measurements that fit your existing door frames with zero defects.

For installation, Capitol Door & Window can install a variety of doors, but if there’s something not in our wheel-house we have a network of experienced, licensed, and insured contractors we can recommend. Replacing a door, unfortunately, is not as easy as just removing screws and screwing back in your new door. The precision required is very detailed, and many times special tools and shims are needed for minor adjustments.

Remember to always dry-fit your door first before painting. Once the door is installed and any minor adjustments are made in the field, you are ready to paint, stain, and seal your new door, or we can do it for you. Remember, all door manufacturers require the door to be sealed on all six sides to maintain your factory warranty.
